Katia Beaugeais

Katia Beaugeais is an Australian-French composer and saxophonist. She is an ABC Classics, Vandoren Paris + Selmer Sax Artist.
Beaugeais graduated with a PhD in Composition (2021) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Recent performances of her music include BBC Radio 3, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London’s Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music.
Both her saxophone and string orchestra music is currently the main theme tune for ABC New Waves and ABC Classic Breakfast radio.

With a unique repertoire ranging from solo saxophone to symphony orchestra, Beaugeais’ music is regularly performed worldwide including upcoming performances in France, Portugal, UK, America, Poland, Spain.
